Housing Programs

Affordable housing means stronger communities. We help revitalize neighborhoods through partnerships among the public, nonprofit and private sectors.

Local and regional governments have housing needs that call for varied approaches. Drawing on twenty years of experience, we design customized programs to fit their situation. We also help governments measure the success of existing programs and prepare for the future.

The Partnership is well-acquainted with the rules governing federal funding, so we can operate these programs very efficiently, saving the counties administration dollars. These two programs are currently available at the county level.

HOME Consortium Management
The Waukesha County HOME Consortium hired the Partnership to administer their programs for 4 counties – Jefferson, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha. It consists primarily of home buyer down payment assistance and homeowner rehab for low and moderate-income households.

Home Rehabilitation Support
Through a contract with Rock County, we directly help homeowners through the process of rehabilitating their homes. The Partnership does an inspection, helps the homeowner select a good contractor at a fair price, and educates the homeowner on maintaining a healthy and safe home.
